Community Celebration
Join us to celebrate our great Jackson Township community during the Jackson Township Community Celebration in the North Park.  Enjoy fun, food & Fireworks.   
Creative Movement Classes

Creative Movement classes will return this summer to the Jackson North Park Pavilion with instructor Barb Craven, owner of Craven Dance Studio.

Farmers Market
The Jackson Township North Park will be buzzing with farmers and vendors this summer.  The Jackson Township Park Department will be hosting a weekly Farmers Market on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. beginning July 11  through October 3.  We make healthy things happen! 
Fishing Derby

Children ages 15 and under are invited to participate in the Jackson Parks Fishing Derby on May 4, 2019 from 8 am - 12 pm at Jackson North Park. Children should bring their own poles and bait and try to catch one of the many fish stocked especially for this event. Children will get to participate in special events such as the Kids Casting contest and the Big Fish Contest. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  The deadline to register is May 3rd.

Haunted Hayride
Join us on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 7-9:30 pm for the annual Jackson Township Haunted Hayride. 
Holiday in the Park
The annual Holiday in the Park and Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 7th in the Jackson North Park from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 
Home Sewage Assistance for Qualifying Persons
The Stark County Combined General Health District has been awarded funding through the Ohio Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to replace or repair failing sewage systems in the county.
Internet Auction of Township Property Policy
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of Jackson Township, Stark County, Ohio, by Resolution No. 18-015, adopted on January 9, 2018, effective February 8, 2018, has adopted the Internet Auction of Township Property Policy.  
Land Conservation Program
Jackson Township Trustees created the Jackson Township Land Conservation Program for the purpose of acquiring and preserving green space for future generations of Jackson Township residents. 
Movies in the Park
Once again, the Jackson Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting FREE Movies in the Park this summer.

Secure Internet Bidding
In an effort to promote greater efficiency and standardization, the Jackson Township Board of Trustees has transitioned to Bid Express for secure internet bidding. 
Snow Emergency/Snow Parking Ban
The Jackson Township Board of Trustees has established a snow-parking ban on all Township streets whenever snow has accumulated, or is expected to accumulate, to a depth of two (2) or more inches. Vehicles parked in the street create inefficient and hazardous snow plowing conditions. 
Street Pole Banner Program
Street pole banners are a unique way of promoting a Jackson Township community event or activity. The use of colorful banners to identify a Jackson Township organization's name and special events in the highly traveled area of Fulton and Wales is an exclusive opportunity to promote the event or activity.

In an effort to bring additional transparency to Township business, Jackson Township went live on March 12, 2016 on OhioCheckbook.com. 
Yard Debris Waste Drop-Off Site-TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY

The yard debris waste drop-off site at South Park is open to Jackson Township residents only.   Beginning, Friday, March 29, 2019, the site is open Friday through Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 7p.m.
