Jackson Township Safety Village 2011

The Jackson Township Police and Fire Departments in conjunction with Jackson Local Schools held the annual Safety Village program from June 13th through June 17th at Sauder Elementary School.

The program included lessons from the Police and Fire Departments on home safety, stranger danger, gun safety and seatbelt safety.   Additional programs included school bus safety, bicycle safety, water safety, pedestrian safety, railroad safety, drugs, poisons, and weather safety. 



JACKSON SAFETY VILLAGE 2012

Jackson Safety Village will be held from June 18th through June 22nd, 2012 at Sauder Elementary School, located at 7503 Mudbrook Street NW.  The hours are from 8:45 to noon daily.

Jackson Local School District children and St. Michael's Elementary School children, who have completed Kindergarten or First Grade for the 2011-2012 school year, are eligible to attend.

Fire, Police and Safety lessons are taught throughout the week with a combination of classroom and hands-on, which include Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety, Stranger Danger, Calling 911, Poison & Drug Safety and many others.

Information/Registration forms will be available for pickup beginning April 23, 2012 at the Jackson Township Safety Center, 7383 Fulton Drive NW.  No forms will be mailed.

The cost for Safety Village is $20 per child and is limited to 150 children.

Jackson Safety Village is a cooperative effort between the Jackson Township Fire & Police Departments and the Jackson Local Schools.
