NO PERSON WHO IS NOT A RESIDENT OF THE DWELLING MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE HOME OCCUPATION AS AN EMPLOYEE OR VOLUNTEER

 

All Home Occupation Permits Must Comply with the Following Regulations:

  1. Such use shall be conducted entirely within the dwelling unit and no use of any accessory building or yard space shall be permitted.

  2. Such use shall be clearly incidental and secondary to the use of the dwelling for dwelling purposes.

  3. Such use shall be owned and operated solely by the person or persons residing in the dwelling unit.

  4. One (1) unlighted nameplate not more than four (4) square feet in area announcing the name and home occupation shall be permitted.  A permit shall be required for construction and erection of such sign.

  5. Such use shall not create a nuisance by reason of noise, odor, dust, vibration, fumes, smoke, electrical interference or other cause.

  6. Such use shall not generate more than four (4) cars at a time.

  7. Parking spaces shall be provided off-street for any traffic generated by such use.

  8. There shall be no retail sales of item not produced on the property.

By signing this application, you agree to comply with the home occupation regulations and give permission to the Zoning Department to access your property for purposes of inspection of this permit request. 

 

A site plan must be submitted with this application showing the size of the lot, the home on the lot with the dimensions and location of the room used for the home occupation, and the location of off-street parking spaces.

 

Acceptance of this application is not acknowledgment that said application is complete.
