    Vote-by-Mail Ballot

    REMINDER TO VOTE BY MAIL

The coronavirus (COVID-19) has altered many aspects of our lives, including the way we vote. As we work to overcome the challenges we face together, it’s still important to have your voice heard in Ohio’s suspended March 17, 2020 Primary Election. With the passage of H.B. 197, the Ohio General Assembly has established a plan to extend the Primary Election and allow all Ohioans to continue voting by mail until April 28.

Any voter who has already cast their Primary Election ballot either by mail, or in person, will have their ballot counted and will not have to resubmit an application for absentee ballot.

Any registered voter who has not cast a Primary Election ballot and desires to do so needs to submit an application for absentee ballot to the Stark County Board of Elections.

Voters can print the application for absentee ballot by using the website www.voteohio.gov. Any voter who does not have the ability to print the application themselves can call 330-451-8683 to request to have an application for absentee ballot mailed to them.

Voters are encouraged to return their application for absentee ballot to the Stark County Board of Elections as soon as possible. The deadline to have application returned to the Board of Elections office is April 25, 2020 by 12:00 p.m. (noon).
