Located on Fulton Road next to Jackson High School, South Park includes the Jackson Bog State Nature Preserve.

There are two miles of hiking trails that are accessible to the public.

Trails leading through the State Nature Preserve offer a rare look into the pristine habitats of hundreds of plants that have survived the ice age. In addition to the diverse plant and wildlife environment this 95-acre complex offers two picnic shelters and restrooms, a playground, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit, athletic fields and a concession stand.
