You DO NOT have to be a Jackson Township resident to participate in programs and events.
All program registration forms and flyers may be obtained from the Jackson Township Hall, or the Jackson Branch Library. Program information and forms may also be found on our website, www.jacksontwp.com. For your convenience, registration forms may be dropped off after hours at our Evening Drop Off box, located next to the main entrance at the Jackson Township Hall.
The Jackson Township Parks & Recreation Department cannot reserve space in programs for family or friends. The only guarantee of being enrolled in a program is a receipt issued after submitting a registration form, along with payment (if applicable).
All registration forms must be signed by a parent or legal guardian for all children under 18 years of age. These forms provide critical information and consent from parents or guardians in the case of a medical emergency. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The Jackson Township Parks & Recreation Department will not be responsible for unaccompanied children before or after a program. Please be prompt when picking up a child who is participating in a program. Written permission is required when other arrangements have been made.
Cancellations
The Jackson Township Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any program which does not meet the minimum required participation. In the event a program is cancelled, registered participants will receive notification by phone. Full refunds will be distributed.
Many of our programs are dependent on the weather. In the event of questionable weather, please be sure to call the Parks & Recreation Department to verify the status of a program. Cancellation of evening programs will be determined at 4:30 pm. Information will be available on a recording at (330) 832-2845 ext. 2121. If there is no recording related to the program, the program is still scheduled.
Refunds
Refunds will be given for programs cancelled by the Parks & Recreation Department. Refunds will be granted if a written request is made five working days in advance of the first day of the scheduled program. Requests must include name, address, phone number, amount to be refunded, program name and date. Refunds will NOT be granted once a program begins. The only exception is an injury which prohibits participation in the program. Please allow 3-4 weeks for refund by mail.
Waiting List Procedure
Waiting lists do not guarantee a space in a program. You will be contacted only if a space becomes available.
By registering for any Jackson Township Parks & Recreation program, participants or parent/legal guardian, agree to allow publication of any photos taken at any program or event sponsored by the Jackson Township Parks & Recreation Department.
